Veggie Fried Rice

For this recipe you’re going to need some cooked rice. You could use leftovers from previous meals or take-aways.

Ingredients:

Cooked Rice

Cooking Oil 

1 Egg 

Mushrooms 

Frozen Peas 

1 Clove Garlic 

1 Piece of Ginger 

1 tbsp Soy Sauce

Let's Cook:

Grab a frying pan, add a bit of oil and get it on a high heat. Break the egg into the pan and mix it up a bit using a wooden spoon.

After about 2 or 3 mins (once the egg has cooked), scoop it out of the pan and save it for later. Chop up the mushrooms into chunks and cut the ginger and garlic into super small pieces. Put the pan back on the heat and add the garlic, ginger and chopped mushrooms.

After about 5 mins add the peas, egg and cooked rice back in to the pan and cook it for another 5 mins. Stir in the soy sauce and dig in!
